Given a FVG is illegal in PRK, is the added weight a disadvantage on your support hand ?

Personally, I prefer Eotechs as I pick up the sight quicker and it seems to have less parallax. And it works well with a PVS-14 (night vision). Its all about how your eyes acquire information from the picture you view when looking through the optics. Naturally, when we look through an Eotech, the large circle catches your attention, separating everything else on the outside of the circle from whats inside.

I have at least a few thond rounds through several different SKS Rifle Stocks rifles and have never experienced a slam fire.

Just realize that the possibility exists and maintain proper muzzle discipline and it should never be a problem.

Keep and eye out for them on gun broker also.

For the 5.56 round the 2 wont make that much difference, compromising your “compact” feature you are looking for by going 18. So I would go 16. Having a rifle that has a good managable weight is very valuable, I have gone lighter on a lot of my rifles…experience has taken me to that point. There are places where the OBR will really shine, but for all around the Predatar really does an awesome job.

I’m in lust for a PredatAR. My only wish was that the handguard didn’t cover the gasblock, and that it had Larue’s adjustable gasblock on it for suppressor use. But I wouldn’t pay an extra $1000 for the OBR for that feature.

I’m really interested to hear if anyone has some sort of a more in-depth comparison of the two also. I’m pretty well set in the rifle department but I don’t own a complete LaRue Tactical so I’ve been waiting for one to become more appealing than the next before I put in an order for one. Of course I’m also waiting for range day so I can get my hands on complete rifles because all of the guys I shoot with are broke college students like me so I don’t know anyone with a complete rifle.

but the CompM4 can use them as well. It all comes down to what you are really looking for in a weapon optic. If you can, in ARFCOM fashion, get both. JLREED12/3/2008 3:52:27 PM I was about to post a similar question, as I am confused by some of the posting here. I have seen a lot of severely negative posting about Eotech, but when it comes down to factual data, from my reading, the primary issue some people have with Eotech is battery life, and in earlier models there were some problems with battery connections, and draining of batteries. Also, it seems this problem has largly been resolved Is this correct?

seamasterpro 2/2/2011 11:56:18 PM I tossed the two around before I bought and ended up with the LT-681 on my A4gery and glad I did. because of the short eye relief of the TA31 I mounted mine really far back, farther than I could have gone with the LT-100. the LT-681 mounts extremely solid so all things being relatively equal I figure you might as well get the one you can Scope Mount furthest rearward and equally as far forward. flpickupman 2/4/2011 7:01:24 PM The RCO Scope Mount is going to give you worlds more adjustment for eye relief. Mine has been more than solid. No complaints. boricua9mm [Member] 2/4/2011 7:30:45 PM If you want to tuck a BUIS under the ACOG, then go with the LT100. If not, the RCO Scope Mount is a good choice. socommatthews (West Bridgewater, MA) – The matter of Atlantic Research Marketing Systems, Inc. v Austin Precision Products, Inc. d/b/a LaRue Tactical, United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, Civil Action No. 1:09-cv-10034(DPW), was settled and dismissed with prejudice. 2/24/2005 1:24:10 AM I have asked Fulton about why they chose to use wood instead of synthetic stock for the PRK EBR, they claimed the fitting is better between the metallic part and wood than with syntheitc material. I am no expert on the subject and I will leave it to the real user to find out. My question is, what do the extra weight and cost get you other than saving the bedding job ?
